Your waist is not a joint.

Bending is a whole body process that generally involves three sets of joints: the ankles, knees and hips.  The waist isn’t one of  those joints.  The hip joints are also much lower than most people think, about four five inches below the waist.  Here is the original  Tip 5 with graphics.

  1. Dont bend at the waist

    OR

    With stimulus of sit,stand,walk,bend think of neck going back head going forward and up and back(torso) going back and up and knees going away from hips(torso) and base of the feet into the ground and shoulders going out to the side and arms lengthening ,’one after the other all together’ , DAILY.

    ‘dont end-gain’ .

  2. lumbar spine ‘ alex postural directions?
    1. The natural curve of the lumbar is the satisfactory or normal length of lumbar spine.
    2. The lumbar flexible bone with 5 vertebrae is connecting upper half and loweq half of the body.
    3. The lumbar slumps or shortens, not only with sitting activity. But also walk, lying, stand.
    So, we have to inhibit the below slumps.
    A. Sitting(sit) lumbar slump
    b. Standing(stand) lumbar slump.
    C. Walk lumbar slump
    d. Bending(Bend) lumbar slump
    e. Lying(lye) lumbar slump
    f. Squat lumbar slump.

    While other parts are inhibiting.

  3. your tip of waist is not a joint is good educational tip.
    but,
    at the waist i think we need to rememeber the SACRUM JOINT is there.
    it is movable and it is utterly a joint.

    the thinking of spine as a comination of 24 joints,is true or false?
    ans: my opinion is true.

    and thinking of of 12 ribs as joints at each thoratic vertebrae is wether
    true or false?
    ans: my opinion is true.

    the thinking of true ribs at the sternum with cartilage attached are joints or not?
    ans: my opinion is they true ribs are jointed at the sternum. so, my opinion is they are joints.

  4. I really like the whole idea of using video lessons it is a great way to reach out to everyone. I find that I confuse my hips with my waist much to often, it’s so easy to follow what is habitual. Thanks for the tip!
