Tip 3 – Proper Head Position

Allow for a softening in the back of your neck.

Head and Neck showing up and forward or down and back
Of course there is no real position for your head because your head should be constantly available for movement. More of a problem is that the head is held too tightly and almost stuck in a position. Allowing for a release of the muscles in the back of your neck will allow your head to rise a little bit, giving more room to your spine, which in turn can make every movement easier. Without moving your head around, try it with just a thought.

WHY MY NECK STOOPS (or goes forward)?
