    1. Hi Alex,

      Point your finger and reach to the sky. Think of the very tip of your finger as reaching and pointing. You might find that your finger, indeed your whole arm, starts to feel like it is getting a little longer beginning from the tip and down through your finger, hand, and whole arm. Your arm is getting longer from the top down. In the same way, try hinking of reaching for the ground with the bottoms of your feet and you might feel that your legs are getting longer beginning from your feet, upward along your legs.

    your tips are very helpful me, for understanding and imagining the possibilites of my bodies movements. one remarkable thing in the vedios is trying to explian the whole concepts of good use.

    iam not saying any thing to you, but iam just stating my thoughts.

    why alexander technique is related with mathematics? ( if statement )

    ans : IF the neck is free
    THEN the head goes forward and up
    the back lengthen and widens
    the legs release away from torso
    the shoulder release out to the sides
    ELSE the neck tightens or goes back and down.

    (if …….else statement )

    length ::::::::::::::::::::: is a mathematical word
    width ::::::::::::::::::::: is a mathematical word
    head forward and up :::::::::::: the distance between the top of the head to the
    top of the torso is constant , if we take head and torso as two parts of the organism.
    here i think distance is a mathematical term
    the legs releases away from torso : the length between legs , torso is constant between
    not shortens.
    shoulder release out to the side ::: the hands to torso length is constant, but it
    not shortens.

    your tips are self exploratory.

    Why you need to stop the belief of ‘doing the right thing’
    for progressing in alexander technique?

    Ans:
    if we compare the physical means or meanswhereby with,
    what we are thinking right means or images or mental pictures then we really fails im every activity.
    This creates tension which compresses the neck again in every activity what we are wishing to employee the reasoning directions.

    So, belief of doing the meanswhereby not thinking about wether it is right or wrong is best to progress forward.
