Tip 10 – Your Breath Is an Ocean Wave

For easier, more confident breathing, imagine your breathing as ocean waves.

Wave

Breathing is a natural cycle that is similar to many natural cycles that we see in the world. Thinking of your breath as ocean waves can help you feel that each breath is inevitable, one continuous cycle, instead of something with different parts that you have to \”do\” or put together.

  1. .Alexander statement of
‘that to lengthen and widen he must put the head forward and up’ ?
    Ans@
    that to – back (torso)
lengthen – since, the head is forward and up releving the neck and total spine to lengthen.
And widen- widening the ribs with respiration and shoulders, after lengthening of the spine .

What happens if the head goes back and down with unconscious stimulus
    over a long time?
    The diaphragm locks.

What happens to the diaphragm while keeping the head consciously over a long time?
